Open a Capital One Bank Account

More and more people are going to the United States. Some want to study, others are looking for career opportunities. Whatever they do, they have to open their bank account in an American bank, if they want to save or withdraw money from their banking account. In this hub, rather than discuss how to open a banking account, rather, by focusing on Capital One Bank, I am going to talk about how to open a Capital One Banking account.

In the America, most of the US bank accounts can be divided into these two categories:

•    Checking account - this account allows you to pay money in your account, transfer money between accounts, withdraw and use an ATM machine.

•    Savings account - this account gives you very low interest rate but helps you to save money.
Take the Capital One Bank as an example. It not only offer debit card, but also credit card to its customers. When you apply for your Capital One Bank, you may consider which card it the most suitable one for you.

Whichever option you choose from the above, you will need the following documents in order to help the Capital One Bank to proceed and approve your request.

1.    Password or SSN to verify your identification.  Before Capital One Bank opens an account for you, you must first proof your identity. So far as I know, SSN, passport, and other IDs are very important. If you do not have them, you can not apply for it.

2.    Current US address Capital One Bank will send its bills to you through its paper bills, if you do not want to receive them through paper bills, you can ask it to send it to you through paperless bill. And you can find them easily from your Capital One Bank  e-statement. But if you want to have paper bills, you should provide your current address, otherwise, it is impossible.

I hope this is helpful for you, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to consult me.
