Last year when I was in Paris,  I passedby the Montparnasse  station several times, but I did not see the style in the 1960s. In 1895, there had a train derailment accident. I Meet with this station again in Martin Scorsese's first 3D film Hugo, 2011; train accidents have also reproduced in the hero, the 12-year-old orphan Hugo's dream. The film adaptation of Brian Selznick, Brian Selznick Tongshu Kai Dick Award (Caldecott Medal) graphic novel "Dreaming of Victor Hugo" (The Invention of Hugo Cabret, 2007). Brian and the film goes very long book by French director Rene Clair film Paris, under the eaves (1930); he is often in the theater to see their own surnames appeared in the movie. Cousin David plug Childs Nick worked as the famous Hollywood producer, "King Kong" (1933), "Gone with the Wind" (1939), and other important works. "Hugo" screenwriter John Logan worked with Scorsese "The Aviator" (2004).

In 1931, Paris, boy Hugo in the public space of the Montparnasse station was alone. He lived in secret in case of  avoiding the police to send him to an orphanage, such as Notre Dame de Paris, Phantom of the Opera "Kidstrace of a trace of the Charles Dickens novel "Oliver Twist" or "Great Expectations". Hugo's watchmaker father was killed in the fire, which asked him to manage the station clock on time.  His uncle was an alcoholic and then was missing. Proficient in mechanical watches, Hugo assumed that it was the responsibility to help his uncle, and tried to fix the robot father brought back from the museum, because it was with his father.

It was a better life which connects the past, and it was the only connection between him and his father.  He believed that the robot would gave him the message from the father. Hugo from time to time steal machines  to fix the robot in the toy store, which made the shop owner George severe to punish him. Hugo therefore recognized the adopted daughter of George and age orphans Isabel, with her to explore the robot, and George's secret, and this expedition, leading to the early films founders George Merieux and a section of the precious silent film history.
