New York Knicks Player Jeremy Lin Is a Legend

Americans believe that Asian Americans and ordinary Americans just like the two races. If you tell the Americans Jeremy Lin, Chang, Ho-Pin Tung, Michelle Wie who are models for Asian athletes, they will nod; but if I tell them Tiger Woods is also Asian descent (his mother's Thai origin), the majority of Americans of non-sports fans will be surprised. The reason is simple: the image of Woods is not American concept of yellow skin, black hair and dark eyes label. Many times, Americans are so snobbish: the image will affect their classification and judgment.

Asian athletes rarely stand up and talk about their ancestry. Partly because, as I have mentioned earlier, the Asian athletes is a silent label classification; Partly becasue Asian athletes try their best to integrate themselves into the United States, and have no intention of promoting their own special, such as the Pittsburgh Steelers Heyin Si Ward do not like to talk about their Korean mothers. Most of the Asian athletes and other Asian Americans, are only silent  to rely on the extraordinary performance of the Americans favoring.
