Campus Visit to Columbia University

Campus Visit to Columbia University

Pay a Visit to Columbia University

Last Sunday I paid a visit to NYC to my friends who is studying at Columbia University. Although I have arrived at Stony Brook for a bout two months, I still have not paid a visit to the NYC. In order to deepen my understanding of New York living and create more opportunities for my academic career in the future, I made the plan to visit it.

I got up early on Sunday morning in order to catch the train which would arrive at Stony Brook Station at 8: 51. It was a pity that our campus bus did not work before 8: 30 in the morning, which caused me to go to the Station by riding a bicycle.

Before my leaving, I have already bought my ticket at SAC Ticket Centre several days ago. Therefore, what I should do was just arrive at the Station on time and get on the train. I arrived at Huntington Station at 9: 40 am, then I transferred the train to Penn Station. I was lucky at that time, that’s because there was a train waiting for me to go to the Penn Station.

When I arrived at the Penn Station, I got off and bought Metro Card Subway Ticket with my credit card. There were several ATM which can sell tickets automatically, and I finally bought the 8 dollars ticket.

After that, I took the NO. 1 subway line, and got off at the 125 ST. Station to my friend’s home.
