Yuri (Nicolas Cage) has such a fate in this film. Regardless, Yuri is not one to hide one's face, he took exactly what he is: an arms dealer, a salesman who will not give up any opportunity. The stage is set and the public will be surprised at the plot and character in this movie.

If the action is not very obvious, it remains in the background: the weapons are indeed at war, whatever its form, and if this war does not matter with Yuri in the front, it is a fact that he is dealing with army force and war weapons. Most people are meeting the crudest expression of these kinds: dictators, murderers, law-breakers of all kinds ...

But Yuri is not of this kind. His approach is perfectly reflected with a lucidity that is chilling. We could see in him the traits of the profile RUSE: able to quickly find solutions to all mental situations, intelligent and skilled at anticipating the movements of his main opponent (an Interpol agent who is chasing him for couple of years). But does it really matter with personal interest? Is it really on the lookout for easy profits? Are the profiles RUSE coldest and most selfish? Not really.
For Yuri, it's not a profession but a vocation, a profession of faith. It was an ethic. He has to be successful in this cruel world, because he has tot follow some strict rules. The risks he takes are calculated, and he knows or feels "protected" as he does not deviate from its path. Here we find a profile is very good. Being an arms dealer, he is to be the instrument of evil. He must yield to his wishes and obey his demands. Can we do his "duty" if you have scruples? We will not know soon.
Lord of War
As far as I am concerned, it is a film to shock and ignite a hot debate on this topic. After all, no morality in two balls. Consider these situations, he has to face such a cruel world. Meanwhile, the documentary is not to displease me and the character is bold and unexpected. If I am really interested in it, it is difficult to say whether I really liked it or not. Do I really like the fascination of horror? I do not know.
