Google eBooks for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Google eBooks for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Google, one of the most innovative company in the world, is creating more and more popular products to its customers. Google books, a program Google once worked and is still co-ordinating with other bookstores, libraries and institutions to provide global readers online books around the world, although more of them are not free and readers have to purchase them through Google shopping or Google eBookstore.

At present, working with Apple Inc., Google eBooks is available in the United States and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch with iOS 3.0 or later. When you open you iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, then you can download free app to start reading over 3 million ebooks through Google ebookstore. If you like to buy them, you can also purchase them through Google shopping.

So far as I know, Google eBooks not only support iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, but also is compatible with Andriod and other mobile phones. Therefore, if you are a reader and like to read books through Google ebookstore, it is always a good ideas to read them with the help of Google eBooks. What you should do is download Google eBooks app to your device and select books and read them. It is easy and convenient.

Unfortunately, Google eBooks do not support Amazon Kindle and other electrical book device, which means that if you are a Kindle user, you can not download Google eBooks app to your Kindle.

It is hard to say whether it is a good idea for us to read and purchase books through Google eBookstore, one reason is that Google charges its customers now, while in the past, Google offers us more free and convenient services; another reason is that the more we rely on Google eBooks, the more we could not have services from other companies.

Comparing with Amazon Kindle, I highly recommend Google eBooks, because it can provide much more options to customers like us. Plus, customers can always find free books through Google ebookstore, while Amazon Kindle could just offer us less choice. But if you are an Apple user, you can greatly enjoy the services from Google eBooks.
